Art Day

A great time was had by everyone in Rooms 20/21 today. Plenty of Christmas spirit has gone into the decorations and gifts they made. These photos show the focus people had on their activities.

Problem solving with Room 20

On Tuesday, while Room 21 were at Performing Arts, Room 20 tried out our problem solving skills. Each group had to work together to build a cup tower without touching the cups. The only tools they had were four pieces of string and a rubber band. Most teams succeeded to build their towers. It was very funny!

Sailing

A glorious day dawned with plenty of excitement and slip, slop, slap. A breeze to make the Optimist dinghies sail and great instructors meant that all was good to go. After a shaky start for some, most children were soon on their way. The improvement from morning to afternoon was considerably marked and some of our children will easily be able to back a trailer in the future given the way they handled the tillers on the boats. Because we were in a shadowy patch on the shore some of the photos were a little dark but here they are.

Some of Room 20's snaps of the day...
